Michael St. Clair, Barbara Bray Edwards’ partner, her children, Andy Samuel Griffith Jr. and Dixie Nann Griffith, and her grandchildren survived her. At the age of 38, her son, Andy Griffith Jr., passed away from alcoholism in 1996. Aside from other health problems, he had liver cirrhosis.

In American entertainment, she was well-known and loved by everyone. However, the Andy Griffith TV program became popular and continued for a long time. Dixie Griffith, her daughter, is still alive and employed as a nurse. She has also appeared in a few interviews and films about her father and his show. She was a remarkable woman with a wonderful life.
