Let's waste time

Let's just waste time . Okay ?  Let's just , for one second , stop being who we are .  Let's rest on that seemingly comfortable recliner . Let's forget the Romedy Now schedule or whatever the schedule of your favorite channel is . Let's look for some old stuff , find something we've been searching for like ages and wonder how it got there. Let's play some of those "cigarettes after sex" or those "the 1975" hits . Let's find those high school ID cards , realize what kind of unsightly creatures we were back then and laugh our asses off . Let's manage to purloin our brothers's guitar for a moment and pretend to be a complete jackass in spite of getting the strumming all wrong . Let's have some green tea and make funny sounds while sipping it up. Let's chat with someone at 2 freaking a.m and try to slip in the conversation, whatever we've been trying to say for a long time  and we know it's been bothering us ever since . Let's wake up in the middle of the night, remember how good we had it ; how happy we were and cry our eyes out 'cause fuck what others say, you know that no matter how much you try to forget that it happened, it will have never not happened. Let's spill some paint, make a mess of some old fashioned stuff and let the photographer within us do the talking . Let's spread some of our favorite flavored mayonnaise and not care about ripping the toast to shreds in the process. Let's pronounce rendezvous as rendezvuz and rapporteur as rappature for once .  Let's try on some of the hideous attires resting in our cupboards and convince ourselves as to how we are totally pulling it off. Let's sit alone in the backseat of our cars and stare outside the window . Let's take some time to appreciate our friends who are vegetarians by  choice . Let's teach someone how to whistle in one corner of the library . Let's record someone sleeping and wake 'em up to capture their instant reaction. Let's leave our laptops switched on and not worry about disabling the automatic sleep mode . Let's bum our usual selves out for a while   and discover something new.  Let's kiss someone goodbye before they leave.
