The UFC's lightweight team has certainly had it's advantages and downs in the last year Steroidshop. With two good tests for steroids and BJ Penn re-entering the fold, it's time for you to re-evaluate the rankings in the UFC lightweight division.
Lightweights in the UFC are regarded as being as much as 155lbs, but most of the men in that number walk around at well over 155lbs. Sean Sherk and BJ Pen have both competed properly at higher loads and former Supreme Fighters Joe Stevenson and Kenny Florian came right down to be at 155. Let us perhaps not spend any time and reach the list.
6. Roger Huerta was virtually not known to UFC supporters only a year ago, but with 5 successive wins included in that point (to set his whole to 15 in a row) and a sports highlighted cover have made Huerta a family title and battle supporter favorite. I first began getting recognize of Huerta with his choice victory around Leonard Garcia at UFC 69. Huerta looked to own countless cardio because battle and has received included two more outstanding victories because then. One against Douglas Evans and one against a really hard Alberto Crane. Huerta does not very make my top 5, but he certainly deserves specific note and a #6 placement.
5. Noise Thomas holds wins around Matt Serra and Jens Pulver. That alone is not enough to go Noise in to the very best 5, however his performances considering that the finish of the Supreme Fighter time 4 are. Noise has overcome Rich Clementi, Clay Guida and Jeremy Stephens and with those three victories around hard issue I provide Noise a #5 rating. I believe Noise is a hard match for everyone at 155.
4 Kenny Florian has one of many worst nicknames in martial arts "KenFlo", but that shouldn't be held against him. He was won 5 of his last six, most of them apparently with little effort. He did loose in the lightweight title attack with Sean Sherk, although not before setting up a stomach turning cut on Sherk and providing "The Muscle Shark" an excellent battle.
3. Joe Stevenson has won 13 of his last 14 battles, including victories around Melvin Guillard, Yves Edwards and Kurt Pellegrino. Usually that places Joe proper in the mix at 155 and I expect him to get a title picture really soon.
2 Sean Sherk has folded total your competition he's faced because he transferred to 155. He is easily out pointed Kenny Florian and Hermes Franca and is well deserving of the #2 spot. I believe several men can provide Sean a function, but with Seans power and training it will undoubtedly be hard to beat "The Muscle Shark ".
1. BJ Penn has precisely one battle at lightweight within the last few four years, so why is he regarded #1 on my number? Mainly because BJ Penn is the better lightweight fighter on the planet. BJ Penn has fought the most truly effective at 155 and 170 and held his own with all of them. He's 1-1 in his battles with long time welterweight champion Matt Hughes and really nearly overcome the long run at that fat, Georges St Pierre. He holds a gain around Jens Pulver and Noise Thomas. Sean Sherk (who is at #2) has missing badly to both Hughes and St Pierre and in my brain that places BJ at a very different level. Till Takanori Gomi concerns the UFC BJ Penn holds the very best spot on my listing of 155 lb fighters.
Several can argue with my number, all things considered it's lacking Hermes Franca, Manny Gamburyan, Spencer Fisher and others. Number top 5 number is complete, or entirely without flaws. This really is mine, for what it's worth. Obviously when Spencer, Manny or Hermes beat one of many others on my number I'll be pleased to go them in to the very best 5.
